Warranty T&Cs 📑


We are committed to providing you with high-quality products and outstanding customer service. We are pleased to offer our customers a one-year limited warranty for eyeglasses (frames) purchased from our store, online or physical. This warranty is subject to the terms and conditions outlined below.

  1. Coverage: This limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship of the eyeglass frames purchased from Hazen for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

  2. Warranty Services: If during the warranty period, you discover any manufacturing defects or non-conformities in the eyeglass frames, we will, at our discretion, repair or replace the defective frames free of charge. The decision to repair or replace will be based on the nature and extent of the defect.

  3. Exclusions: This warranty does not cover damage or defects caused by:
    a. Improper or unreasonable use, including but not limited to, accidents, negligence, mishandling, or misuse of the eyeglasses.
    b. Alterations, modifications, or repairs conducted by anyone other than authorized personnel.
    c. Normal wear and tear, such as scratches, fading, or peeling.
    d. Use of frames with lenses not purchased from Hazen.
    e. Prescription changes or adjustments to frames made by another optician or eyecare professional.
    f. Damage resulting from exposure to excessive heat, cold, humidity, or direct sunlight.
    g. Any other causes not arising from defects in materials or workmanship.

  4. Warranty Claim Procedure: To make a warranty claim, please follow these steps:
    a. Contact our customer service team within the warranty period, providing your name, purchase details, and a detailed description of the defect or issue.
    b. Our customer service representative may request additional information or documentation to assess the claim.
    c. If the claim is approved, we will provide instructions on how to return the defective frames to us.
    d. Once we receive the frames, our experts will evaluate the claim and determine whether a repair or replacement is appropriate.
    e. If the claim is approved, we will repair or replace the defective frames and ship them back to you at no additional cost.
    f. If the claim is deemed ineligible for warranty coverage, we will provide a detailed explanation of the reasons.

  5. Limitation of Liability: Our liability under this limited warranty is strictly limited to the repair or replacement of defective frames as determined by Hazen. We are not liable for any consequential or incidental damages, including but not limited to, loss of use, loss of time, inconvenience, or any other expenses or costs.

  6. Legal Rights: This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state or country to country. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations and exclusions may not apply to you.

  7. Modifications: Hazen reserves the right to modify or amend the terms and conditions of this limited warranty at any time without prior notice. The warranty in effect at the time of your purchase will apply to your eyeglasses (frames).

Please retain a copy of your purchase receipt as proof of purchase, as it may be required to validate your warranty claim.
